The Church in God and Christ , Bishop James B. Russell founder and overseer, was formed in 1976. Our moto is: Come and go with us and we will do you good. Our theme:A New Beginning- The Old Way.

The church is inviting churches, pastors, layman and all who seek a greater involvement in during the Lord's work and are being hindered by many circumstances. Our invitation is world wide as we have made inroads into the foreign countries of India and Africa. God has blessed us to install churches and leaders and elevated some to the high office of the Bishoprick to further the Lord's work in these countries. We appeal also to such in our own country as we endeavor to preach and spread the word to all who wish a new direction in living and offering themselves to a higher and more spiritual servive to our Lord Jesus Christ and the calling that He has placed in and on our lives. Praise His Holy Name! We desire new churches and leadership in all of our states in the United States and a continue growth world wide.
